Community Servings Young Leaders (or CSYL, pronounced “sizzle”) is a diverse group of passionate professionals in Boston who are dedicated to Community Servings’ mission.
We host CSYL volunteer nights in the kitchen, gather socially, and organize various fundraising & educational events (virtually and in-person) to explore nutrition, food policy, and more.
We welcome individuals in their 20s and 30s interested in volunteerism, philanthropy, and networking to join the Community Servings Young Leaders in raising funds and advancing the agency’s mission.

Traditionally, we host CSYL-specific kitchen volunteer shifts each month, but we’re adjusting to the restrictions based on social distancing guidelines this year. We’re planning to launch a virtual volunteer opportunity in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for that! Or, if you’re comfortable volunteering in person, learn more below.
Kitchen volunteer shifts are now offered Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., and 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
