We rely on the generosity of individual volunteers and organized community groups to help our kitchen team prepare the nutritious food our clients need to improve and maintain their health. Whether it’s one time, once a week, or once a month, every extra set of hands helps.
We currently host 100+ volunteers daily across multiple shifts to make thousands of scratch-made medically tailored meals. Three three-hour shifts are offered Monday through Friday beginning at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m.
Kitchen volunteers must be age 13+, and all new volunteers will receive an orientation from our team before the start of their shift. Required attire includes pants covering the ankles, long-sleeve shirts, and close-toed shoes. Hairnets and aprons will be provided. (view our dress code flyer)
