Group Volunteering

Strengthening bonds and the community.

Corporate Experiences

We’re always in need of extra hands to help us make 20,000+ meals weeklyso we frequently host corporate volunteer groups in our production and packaging kitchens. These groups help our team peel and chop veggies, portion soups, stews, and salads, and package meal bags for our clients experiencing critical and chronic illnesses.

This high-impact, hands-on volunteer experience is also a great way to strengthen bonds between coworkers while giving back to our community. All new kitchen volunteers receive a 20-minute orientation and food safety training at the start of their first shift.

A $75 donation per volunteer per shift is required. The donation will provide two weeks’ worth of scratch-made, medically tailored meals to a critically or chronically ill neighbor.

Community Groups

Our mission is to actively engage the community in providing scratch-made, medically tailored meals to individuals and families experiencing illness and nutrition insecurity. We couldn’t do this without the support of community volunteer groups. These include staff and students from schools and universities, religious groups, local nonprofits, service organizations, and groups of friends and families looking to make a difference.

Whether you’re a group of five or 15, we’d love to learn more about your team. Please email the Volunteer Services Team at with details about your organization, the number of volunteers you’d like to accommodate, and your preferred schedule. Community groups are not charged a per-volunteer fee.

Individual Experiences

If you’re volunteering alone or with one or two others (friends, family, or associates), please check the Boston or Mansfield Volunteer Calendars for available dates and shifts, which you can book directly.
