The AMPL Institute advocates for state and federal policy changes that will make medically tailored nutrition available to any person living with a severe, complex, or chronic illness, regardless of their illness, geography, or ability to pay.
The AMPL Institute has the central policy objective of securing medically tailored nutrition as an established benefit in Medicare and Medicaid.
Community Servings is a founding partner and advisory board member of the Food is Medicine Coalition (FIMC), the national association of nonprofit providers of medically tailored food and nutrition services.
FIMC Accreditation Program
The FIMC Accreditation Program standardizes the provision of medically tailored meals into a rigorous, evidence-based set of criteria and requirements proven to deliver improved health outcomes and cost savings. All FIMC-accredited organizations provide the same level of service, regardless of scale, size, or geography.
