Our Mission
Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. Our goals are to help our clients maintain their health and dignity and preserve the integrity of their families through culturally appropriate, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, and other community programs. We rely on volunteer help to prepare and package 2,500 meals per day that are later delivered to our clients’ homes. Volunteers chop, peel, and process produce, seal meals, label meals by diets, portion soups, salads, and snacks, pack bags, and assemble meals in our commercial kitchen.
How to Get Here
Community Servings is located at 179 Amory St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
At this time, we are asking volunteers to use precaution when traveling to Community Servings. If using public transportation, please continue to be mindful of social distancing and sanitizing as you arrive on site. We also have plenty of parking spaces available in the lots adjacent to our building, which you are welcome to use.
