The goal of the meals program is to improve the quality of life, health, and ability to perform daily activities for individuals and families affected by a life-threatening disease. Our meals offer clients, their dependent children and caregivers stability and comfort as they grapple with the effects of illness. We aim to help clients best meet their nutritional needs based on the type of illness they are faced with by providing calorie-rich, nutritionally tailored meals. Through our special diets program we can ensure that our clients have the most appropriate and nutritious meals delivered according to their needs. We currently offer 25 different individualized diets each day. Examples of special diets include no salt, bland, renal, vegetarian, and diabetic.
Community Servings provides each client with a weekly meal bag delivery. A daily delivery (lunch, dinner and snack) may be available based on location and living arrangements.
