Even though the official last day of summer looms, Community Servings' Farmers' Market has activities planned through closing day, Sunday, October 18. Here's a "sneak peek" of what's in the works as we celebrate autumn: - An apple and pear picking expedition to local organic orchards -- Free Fruit for All!
- An apple pressing -- make your own cider!
- Millbrook Farms is planning on selling caramel apples in the fall. (Doesn't the kid in you just giggle with joy when you think about it?)
- A bike tour of local farms and gardens (rooftops and all) starting from Community Servings' parking lot.
- Artwork displays during JP Open Studios, the last weekend in September.
Be sure to keep an eye on our website, Twitter account, and Facebook page for more details. We look forward to seeing you soon on an upcoming Sunday! Community Servings' Farmers' Market Sundays through October 18, 2009 10 AM-2 PM
