Community Servings, Inc. is Greater Bostons free, home-delivered meals program for those who are homebound with a critical illness, serving 2000 meals per day to 600 clients and their families in 14 communities.
Position Summary:
The Delivery Drivers primary responsibility is the loading and delivery of prepared meals and related food to Community Servings clients at their home by driving a delivery van and carrying the food up the stairs (as much as four flights) or via elevator. In addition, the Delivery Driver assists with hands-on food packaging assembly. Due to our expansion to Worcester we have a full-time position available Tuesday through Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM which is subject to change. Part-time position may also be available. |

Service Learning and InternshipsVolunteers are the backbone of our organization. In addition to working in the kitchen, doing deliveries and helping out on special events, we have several opportunities for colleges students to fulfill service learning course requirements or intern with us. Past and current projects have included helping to develop, distribute and tabulate the results of client surveys and doing outreach to hospitals and clinics regarding our expanded mission. |

About Community Servings
Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses.
